Job Description

We are looking to hire a Business Development Manager to be a part of a UAE based Interiors & Fit-Out Company. We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate the following:
  • Identify and attend appropriate conferences/industry events and co-ordinate marketing activity and corporate hospitality with the purpose of developing relationships and raising the company profile
  • Identify, investigate, validate and proactively pursue appropriate opportunities in line with corporate sales strategy
  • Lead and co-ordinate all aspects of the sales cycle including prospecting, introductory meetings, sales presentations, production of proposals/tender responses, agreement of commercial terms, contract negotiations, planning and implementation.
  • Maintaining an accurate prospect database and produce monthly sales pipeline and progress reports.

Desired Skills and Experience

Required Qualifications

  • Fluency in MS Office software particularly in Excel, Power Point and Word
  • Bachelor’s Degree relevant to industry

Skills

  • Fluent in English in both Written and Verbal, Arabic would be advantageous
  • High analytical skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Good interpersonal skills

Other Requirement’s

  • Minimum 4-5 years’ experience in a Fit-Out Sales or related discipline
  • Knowledgeable in Commercial Interiors particularly Office & Retail Fit-Outs
  • Full UAE Driving License

Drafting

Candidate Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering
  • English – Verbal & Written
  • Strong Technical background especially in HVAC

Candidate Experience & Skills

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience within the Fit Out industry
  • UAE Experience preferred
  • Any additional skills related to Fit Out works would be a bonus
  • Ability to follow rough sketches, to work from plans, specifications and drawings (not make?)
  • AutoCAD design experience is preferred?
  • Ability to recognize occupational hazards and put in place correct safety precautions
  • Skills in the installation, operation and maintenance of electrical gauges and plumbing equipment’s and other mechanical tools
  • Thorough knowledge of the practices, techniques and materials used in the mechanical / electrical and plumbing trades and skills in the application of such practices and techniques

Job Purpose

Deliver full mechanical scope of works for our projects to include electrical and plumbing works involving the design, construction, Inspection and maintenance.

Job Description

  • Design and fitting of full HVAC system to include but not limited to-: Cooling load calculation, selection air distribution, sizing and equipment’s.
  • Responsible for heat load calculation by using (HAP)
  • Design and fitting of all required plumbing such as fixtures, piping, chilled water system and water demand calculations.
  • Design and Implement fire protection system and drainage system
  • Installation, Testing & commissioning of the Mechanical system
  • Ventilation & Kitchen Hood calculation system (if in project scope)
  • Ensure coordination on site between MEP works and civil works are in line with Project plan before commencement of any MEP task.
  • Ability to recognize occupational hazards and put in place correct safety precautions

Skills & Experience

  • Previous work experience in inspection, testing and design of MEP
  • Skills in the installation, operation and maintenance of electrical gauges and plumbing equipment’s and other mechanical tools.
  • Thorough knowledge of the practices, techniques and materials used in the mechanical / electrical and plumbing trades and skills in the application of such practices and techniques.
  • Working knowledge of safety measures and precautions

Interior Denigner

  • Undertake design project from concept to completion
  • Define project requirements and schedule during the “brief”
  • Interpret and translate customer needs into rough plans
  • Set costs and project fees according to budget
  • Research and decide on materials and products sourcing
  • Produce “sample” and “mood products”
  • Supervise work progress
  • Work closely with designers, decorators, architects and constructors
  • Research and follow industry changes, evolutions and best practises
  • Create a timeline for the interior design project and estimate project costs

Requirements

  • Proven working experience in decorating interior spaces (consultations, renovations, space planning and new constructions)
  • Expertise in layout, colour, lighting, materials selection, custom furniture and all installations.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, Illustrator or other design programs
  • Excellent portfolio of previous works
  • Creative talent, imagination and eye for design
  • Communication and presentation skills
  • Project management skills
